jillian in a nutshell Jillian Jenkins is the pretty little blonde at EED, believes every girl should have pearls, and that cowboy boots go with everything. At weddings, however, you will find her wearing 4 inch heels, from beginning to end, with no complaints. Jillian is simply love-struck with the color pink, can recite the movie “Overboard” word for word –no joke, test her– and believes a smile is a girl’s best accessory. Her husband is a scientist who works on cancer research at Johns Hopkins and they are parents to two darling little girls: one 5 year old ballerina and one pigtailed, climbing toddler.  She has a fondness for being by the water and during summer, you will find her snuggled in between her girls, her hubby and a glass of wine on the family boat. 

experience Jillian has been orchestrating events for over a decade and has been planning weddings before EED was even around! Jillian was the lead wedding planner at a premiere Baltimore boutique hotel chain planning upscale weddings and affairs for years prior to joining EED.  When her sister, Elle, started EED, Elle told Jillian she had to bring her talent to work with her! The experience in coordination, tools & planning, and design ideas that she has brought to the company are irreplaceable and out of this world. One of the most popular planning tools given to brides after booking was developed by Jillian herself. Her contagious charm, refined eye for design, and her experience with all wedding traditions and cultures has given Jillian her own name in the wedding industry. Brides often email describing their experience with her as feeling like they were her only client because of how devoted she is to making dreams come true. This is probably why she is requested so much to work with and why she has countless friends who used to be her clients! 

style Jillian’s personal style is classic, demur and graceful, but with a chic edge. One of the things her clients love about Jillian is her ability to see the design from her bride’s point of view to truly be able to feel what they want. Her wedding designs include a a luxury Disney Princess theme  (there were scroll menus!), a full ombre wedding down to the charger colors, over the top tents on the coast, and modern and chic in DC. Her clientele include newscasters, politicians, NFL players and more! 

jillian & elle  Elle & Jillian are sisters and even though they are not twins, many seem to think they are! Which one is older? You’ll have to guess, but let’s just say one may have let the other use their I.D. in college. Because they have been together forever, they can often read each other’s minds, looks, and gestures, frequently finishing each other’s sentences. They often enjoy tricking their Mom since she cannot tell them apart on the phone. Jillian and Elle are Godmothers to each other’s daughters, were each other’s maid of honors, and often show up to events unplanned in matching outfits. You will also find them working together on events, photo shoots and collaborating on design ideas!
